Space Coast Turkey Trot is organized by Running Zone Foundation. Running Zone was founded in 2003 in Melbourne, Florida. Since the beginning Running Zone has helped organize running and walking events throughout the local area to give back to local nonprofits. Running Zone Foundation is a 501c3 not for profit foundation founded in 2008 to formalize our commitment to the local community. Running Zone Foundation's mission is to give back to local nonprofits through organzing running and walking events throughout the East Coast of Central Florida. Since 2003 we have donated over 1.4 Million dollars back to local nonprofits in our community.
